Okanagan Hockey School Ltd. is proud to announce their return to England in 2012 with two one-week camps in Nottingham and Swindon. Both camps will be run as part of Okanagan Hockey School United Kingdom after a successful partnership in 2011 with the Swindon Wildcats.

OHS UK Nottingham and Swindon are both licensed Hockey Canada development programmes, which will run as a pre-season Prep Camp to get players ready for the upcoming season. The camp will feature daily ice sessions, off-ice skills and conditioning sessions and hockey specific lectures.

"We're very excited about returning to England with two camps in 2012," said Andy Oakes, President of the Okanagan Hockey School. "This is a great chance for young players in Swindon and surrounding clubs to prepare themselves for the season ahead. Our partnerships with the National Ice Centre, Nottingham, Swindon Wildcats and Hockey Canada will help ensure high-calibre instruction for all age levels."

The Nottingham camp will run from August 12 -17 2012 and will be divided into a Prep camp for U16 & 18's with a main camp for U10, 12 & 14's.

The Swindon camps will run from August 20 - 24 2012 and will be divided into three age groups, U10 & U12, U12 & U14, U16 & U18's.

"Hockey Canada looks forward to working with the Okanagan Hockey School on program design and delivery for both the Nottingham and Swindon camps," according to Paul Carson, Vice President of Hockey Development with Hockey Canada. He added, "It is important to stay current in programming at the grassroots and elite levels of youth hockey and maintain a strong understanding of top level instructional techniques, both on and off the ice in the game of hockey today."

The Nottingham camp costs are £250 for the Prep camp and £300 for the main camp, the Swindon camp cost is £300 with payment plans available for both camps.
