Game 4 England v pesterzsebeti farakasok

The final robin game was against a big physical farakasok team. They made their intentions quite clear from the start.however the England team weren't to be intimidated and stood up to the task. The opening two minutes saw England on the PP and took full advantage with Ethan boolkah took a shot from the blue line to hit the net. The Hungarians equalized at 3.33 and that closed the first period. The team have improved in every game and this was by far their strongest performance.
The 2nd period saw the Hungarians score in the first 2 minutes this only made our guys dig deeper to match the opponents on every shift.england were unlucky not to draw level towards the end of the period which finished 1-2.

England had an early PP opportunity in the 3rd but they were unable to force the puck one. As the clock ran down the guys threw everything in the Hungarian zone in search of the guys threw everything at the home net in search of a well deserved equalizer.some smart play by the England D enabled a PP as the home side were called for too many men.
From the draw Arron Lyon past back to Luke Jackson who put everything into the shot scoring the equalizer putting the England team in the play off for 3 or 4th position. This was a good draw for a well deserved team performance. MOM went to Jordan Kelsall.

Game 5 of the tournament

Day 3 and the last game of the trip is a decider for 3rd and 4th position. England were up against the previous opposition from game 4.
Angus Laing again between the pipes with ethan James suffering from injury shouting encouragement to his team mates.

The game took on a similar look to that previously with some big hits coming from both teams. England grew stronger with every shift and it was only a matter of time before they opened their account. The first goal came after forcing an error in the Hungarian zone and Kate Marsden fed Arron Lyon who hit the lamp. England extended their lead at 16.06, James Clarke scoring with a great solo effort.

There was no further scoring in the first and the second also stayed blank as both team defense stayed strong.  the Hungarians managed to break through the English defense but were stoned by angus who remained strong. The 3rd period saw the Hungarians becoming more aggressive and frustrated as they picked up penalties, with a running clock this only made the England team stay in control of the game enabling Katie Marsden to put the biscuit in the net at 55.38.

Great celebrations took place as the final buzzer sounded.
MOM was Louis Colvin
A fantastic last performance from the England team who have grown from strength to strength with each game.

Ever player should be proud of their efforts they have put in to the Budapest tournament.
