England Seniors and 16’s Girls Countdown to Windsor
Saturday 3rd October was last practise for players before they set off on an Ice Hockey experience of a life time when they travel to Windsor Ontario Canada on the 16th October to take part in a 130 team female hockey tournament HOCKtoberfest that runs from Friday 22nd-25th October. There are sure to be some really tough games in the tournament.
The team will practise in the mornings and play games in the afternoon / evening with each team already having a queue of Canadian and USA teams wanting to play them, with each of them playing 6 pre tournament games they should be well placed to compete in the tournament, keep watching the website for regular updates pictured the seniors in white and the 16’s in red.
The England venture into Canada is not huge for the girls, just take a look at the tournament website http://www.hocktoberfest.com/home.html are they looking forward to us coming or not, they have already made requests for players to appear on TV give radio interviews, magazine interviews, belive me we left a great impression last year I am sure will do so again.
