18th July and was being treated at Buckinghamshire's leading hospital in Stoke
Mandeville. Tragically, his condition was such that he was not able
to recover.
A true emerging talent respected by peers, coaches and friends alike,
Jack featured in Swindon's junior programme. A talented
forward, Jack represented Team South West in the Conference
championships at the Under-11, 13, 15 and 17 age groups as well as
representing England in the Under-13, 14, 15 and 16 international
teams. He had recently been invited to GB trials and was a GB U18 prospect.
Jack was due to move to Swindon this August to commence a two year
programme of study at New College and having turned 16 years old last
Friday, was expected to break through to Swindon's senior ice hockey
teams this season.
