EIHA COACH RECERTIFICATION PROGRAM

The EIHA has determined that beginning June 2010 all EIHA Hockey Coaches are to “Recertify” using USA Hockey’s on-line Recertification program which is offered through flexxCOACH: This USA Hockey On-Line Recertification Program will enable EIHA coaches who successfully complete the courses to fulfill their requirements for the EIHA Coaching Program continued education process. By participating in this program students will experience the latest in web based training techniques that will allow them to benefit  from: The opportunity to learn from the game’s best coaches. Participating in a self paced learning program that will result in increased knowledge retention. Engaging multi-media instruction with high quality video, audio, graphics, animation and on-screen text. The convenience and accessibility of the anytime, anywhere e-learning experience. The criteria for retaining you licence :- If you have held a Level 1 certificate / licence for more than 2 years, you must take your level 2 or complete the USA Hockey Recertification Program (6 lessons cost $55) in order to be able to register for the 2011 / 2012 season. Be sure to indicate that you are a Level 1 Coach. Access to the lessons will open in December 2010 and close on July 31st 2011. If you have held a Level 2 certificate / licence for more than 2 years, you must complete the USA Hockey Recertification Program (6 lessons cost $55).   Be sure to indicate that you are a Level 2 Coach.                            You must be sure to follow the EIHA Re-certification link                                          Please note no extensions will be given to complete re-certification.   If you would like to learn more about how the flexxCOACH University e-Learning Experience works, please view the tutorial. - A broadband connection is highly recommended when viewing the tutorial and REQUIRED for the Recertification Program. -
